Abstract: Aiming at the spontaneous combustion accident of 21021 second mining face in Hongda coal mine，analyzed the second mining face high spontaneous combustion induced factors and management difficulties. On this basic, a series of technologies were applied，which included injecting three-phase inhibition foamto to rapidly cool the fire area and cover filled fracture，at the same time adjusting ventilation facilities to realize partial pressure，reduce air leakage, and explored the loose goaf drilling technique of two stage casing. After treatment the oxygen concentration decreased significantly in the fire area, the rest of the indicators are to meet the requirements of fire opened.
